Frequently asked questions

From the International Airport Frankfurt am Main you can reach the Hotel Excelsior Ludwigshafen in about one hour. Take the ICE train to main station of Mannheim. There you change to suburban railway (S-Bahn) S3 and get off at the main station Ludwigshafen. From there it is only short walking distance to the hotel.

Highway A67 from Frankfurt: At the "Dreieck Viernheim" junction towards Ludwigshafen, take the exit Ludwigshafen. Drive past the BASF building direction to the city centre (Stadtmitte). Then follow the signs to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). From the station, you can already see the 17-level hotel building of Hotel Excelsior Ludwigshafen around 400m away.

Highway A6 coming from the south: Take the exit to Mannheim. From Mannheim city centre, drive towards Ludwigshafen and cross the River Rhine. Then take the third exit on the right towards the central station (Hauptbahnhof). From the station, you can already see the 17-storey Hotel Excelsior Ludwigshafen about 400m away.

The hotel is only 400 meters from the main station (Hauptbahnhof). You can walk down Lorientallee straight to our building.  

The exhibition grounds in Friedrich-Ebert-Halle are only 2.5 km away from our hotel. You can easily reach the hall via Lorientalle and Erzbergstraße.

Our guests can use the outdoor car park in front of the hotel. Alternatively, you can make use of the underground parking garage for € 10.00 per day.

Your hotel room will be available for you from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Our hotel has a beautiful breakfast restaurant.

Saturday & Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Children aged 10 years and younger stay free of charge in one of the standard beds in their parents' room.
